ABOUT ME
I am a Psychology major at Whittier College and graduating senior. During my undergraduate years, I have achieved the Dean’s List for more than four semesters. I was also invited and inducted into Psi Chi, a Psychology honors society. I have participated as a copyeditor and proofreader for the Greenleaf Review Literary Magazine and have collaborated on observations and analysis with childhood education programs.
I am a man of Mexican American heritage, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Off Campus, I enjoy spending time in nature, particularly hiking, camping and backpacking. I am currently employed at L. B. Johnson Industrial Hardware as a floor supervisor. Training, supervising, and engaging with staff has allowed me to practice patience, empathy, and a strong passion for mental health awareness to my work.

My Appreciation For
Alexander Valley, Sonoma County
During the summer before my senior year, a group of friends and I camped at Alexander Valley for one week. I had the opportunity to explore local flora and forests.

Grass Mountain, Los Padres National Forest
I backpacked through the Los Padres National Forest (20 miles). Sleeping under well lit stars and reaching high elevations to take in the view is something I always enjoy.
Amoeba Music, San Francisco
One of my hobbies includes collecting physical media, particularly CDs. I enjoy listening to alternative rock, shoe gaze, folk and many other genres of music.
